Our Client Experience with Davidson Building Group
I chose Davidson Constructions to build my new home as a knockdown/rebuild project. They were one of 2 custom builders recommended to me through the Homeshelf group after I found none of the larger volume builders had a floorplan to meet my requirements.
From the very first contact, their customer service and attention to detail was impressive. Max and the team listened to what I wanted and my budget. After a few revisions and adjustments, we came up with a house design that met my requirements. The process was thorough, with great advice and my concerns and wishes were always considered.
I found their expertise and guidance invaluable especially the consultations to pick bathroom fixtures at Paco Jaansen and all the other colours and fixtures at Inspiration studios. They listened to what I wanted and guided me, and at no time did I feel I was not being listened to, or pressured into something I didn’t like.
The whole team, led by Graeme and Bron has been friendly, considerate and supportive during the whole process, despite there being unavoidable delays on my part to the start of the demolition and actual building phase. When the building actually started and I was introduced to Andrew and Tamara, this excellent communication continued. I have been constantly updated with progress and consulted and advised about any last-minute changes, delays or recommendations such as lighting and Power point placements.
Even after the final handover and payment, the team kept in touch with me, keen to follow up and help with any issues or questions I may have had.
I would thoroughly recommend Davidson’s as a builder. Their experience, attention to detail, pride in their work and clear and frequent communication has made building my new home an exciting experience.
Berwick Project
We completed a full renovation of the existing dwelling, and added a new 2nd floor for their Berwick home.
Completed in 7 months.
We chose G.C. Davidson Constructions for our renovations and extension after a personal recommendation and our meeting with Graeme Davidson and Max Dietz at their office. A very important deciding factor for us was their long standing as builders in our community.
It was the best decision we have made, they guided us through the whole process in a very professional and caring manner, taking our personal situation into account at all times.
We particularly liked the way we could meet with the very helpful Supervisor, Andrew and trades personnel on site to go through stages of operation. Andrew kept us well informed of what was happening at all times.
We absolutely love our new home and the outcome is exactly what we wished for and the workmanship second to non.
The entire team at Davidson’s from Owners, Supervisor, Office Staff and Tradies were wonderful to work with and very obliging to our requests.
